Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent staining of a toner image supporting material accompanied by a change in the liquid sistribution in a liquid-impregnated holding member during stopping of operation by providing a high polymer synthetic resin film having fine open cells on the surface of the heating roller of a fixing device in contact with the roller of an offset preventing liquid coating means. CONSTITUTION:A roller 1 is held heated to a fixed temperature by a heater 9.
