Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to check an error effectively when a difference in reproduced sound is generated, by equipping a counter that counts up when a received signal is at level ''high'' while counting down when at ''low''. CONSTITUTION:Up-down counter 36 is provided. Audio input S1 input to audio input unit 23 is delta-modulated in 24 and 25 at two sampling frequencies 21 and 22 and the outputs are passed through amplifiers 26 and 27 and transmitted to a reception side through transmission lines 28 and 29. At the reception side, on the other hand, audio reproducing circuit 37 and error detecting circuits 31-36 are arranged. Namely, an error is detected through counter 36 that counts up with a received input to filter 33 and counts down with an output from counter 35. For example, when sampling frequencies are double and the count value of counter 36 exceeds two, an error of a sound, reproduced by circuit 37, happening on the transmission line is detected.
