Abstract
PURPOSE: Titled heat-resistant, flame-retarded polyamide containing, in the molecular chain, a heterocyclic compound containing C-P bonds in the molecule, prepared by polycondensing a specified phenoxaphosphine ring compound with a diamine.
CONSTITUTION: Titled polyamide consisting of repeating units represented by formula II, wherein R is a group of formula III, IV or V, is prepared by polycondensing a phenoxaphophine ring compound represented by formula I, wherein Y is hydroxyl or a halogen, such as 2,8-dicarboxy-10-phenylphenoxaphosphine-10-oxide or 2,8- dichloroformyl-10-phenylphenoxaphosphine-10-oxide, with a diamine such as 4,4'- diaminodiphenylmethane or 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether.
