Abstract

PURPOSE: To make comfortable temperature control possible, by providing a resistance and a capacitor that make a hunting period of room temperature constant which is brought about by operation of the cooling and heating apparatus irrespective fluctuation of the load.
CONSTITUTION: In the temperature controller of the air conditioner for controlling room temperature at constant wherein the cooling and heating apparatus is switched on or off by detecting the room temperature through a temperature detecting means 1 having a difference in temperature setting, the resistor 11 and the capacitor 12 are provided which make a hunting period of room temperature constant which is brought about by operation of the cooling and heating apparatus irrespective of the fluctuation of the load. After the stop of heating operation, when a hunting period that is determined by the resistor 11 and the capacitor 12 irrespective of the fluctuation of the load has elapsed, the input relationship of a comparator 13 becomes +side > -side and an H level is inputted to an OR gate 8 to resume the heating operation, and the sequence will be repeated thereafter.
