Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the reliability with smooth tone arm and to make ease of assembling, by the constitution that the braking force is operated to the moving rod of electromagnet with the braking section by the combination of liquid and magnet or magnetic substance.
CONSTITUTION: The permanent magnet 22 forming the control section 25 is magnetically balanced with the moving rod 19 at the stop state and is goint to lift up or down in following to the movement of the moving rod 19, but the braking force is operated with the friction of the viscoelastic liquid 23. Thus, the moving rod 19 slowly lifts up and down with the electromagnet 20 being driven, enabling to slowly lift up and down the tone arm 1. Further, the permanent magnet 33 forming the braking section 36 is magnetically balanced at the stall state with the moving rod 30 and is goint to reciprocate in following to the reciprocal movement of the moving rod 30, but the braking froce is operated with the friction of the viscoelastic liquid 34. Thus, although the moving rod 30 is driven with the electromagnet 31, slow reciprocation is made, enabling to slowly swing the tone arm 1.
