Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the potential difference from particularly increasing among the taps of the tap coil in the winding of an induction-type electric apparatus such as a transformer by connecting the insulated coil elements in the same winding in series in the order different from the arranging order. CONSTITUTION:A tap coil layer 8 is arranged outside the line end layer which is the outermost layer. The tap coil layer 8 comprises insulated coil elements 8a-8d which are four parallel spirally wound insulated conductors. Each connection between the coil elements is made as follows. The winding end of a body coil layer 7 and the winding beginning end of the insulated coil element 8a are connected to form a tap terminal 11, and the winding end of the element 8a and a transition connecting conductor 18 are connected to form a tap terminal 12. Similarly, connections are made in order of a tap terminal 13 - the element 8b - a transition connecting conductor 19 and so on. Said procedure permits the series electrostatic capacity to increase, and the potential distribution to improve when an impulse voltage is applied. Therefore, the potential difference among the tap terminals can be prevented from particularly increasing.
