Abstract
PURPOSE: To operate a valve for returned sludge and an inflow door for sewage for keeping MLSS (activated sludge microorganism concentration) of a specific circuit and also even MLSS of the other circuits constant in an aeration tank operated by a step aeration method.
CONSTITUTION: The signal Ca of MLSS at the inlet of the circuit A is inputted in the MLSS regulator 9 and the output of the regulator 9 is used in regulating the amount of incoming sewage by operating an inflow door 2, and also the signal Cb of the MLSS at the inlet of the circuit B is inputted in the MLSS regulator 6 and the output of the regulator 6 is used in regulating the amount of returned sludge by operating the returned sludge valve 3. Thus, MLSS of both the circuits A and B can be kept at respective set values for a long length of time.
