Abstract

PURPOSE:To save an unuseful area for containing articles to be conveyed by a method wherein a conveyor trough, through which a link chain is penetrated, is made into a tubular body. CONSTITUTION:An endless chain 17 is driven by a driving device 20 and a following device 40 and is circulated in counterclockwise while articles to be conveyed, put on the chain 17 through a hopper 15, are moved to the left within a conveyor trough 13 consisting of a tubular body, then the articles are delivered to a position of a driving roller 29 of the driving device 20 to drop them through a discharging port 27 and contain them into a container. After the discharging, the link chain 17 led out of the trough 13 is moved to the right under the trough 13 to a position of an eccentric roller means 35. Here, the remained articles to be conveyed, still adhered to the link chain 17, are swept away therefrom by the roller means 23 rotated by a motor 19.
