Abstract
PURPOSE:To automate chamfering, by providing a grindstone shaft of the captioned chamferer with a rotational movement as well as an oscillatory movement through a planetary gear mechanism to rotate said shaft regardless of a grindstone main shaft adjustment displacement diameter. CONSTITUTION:When an output shaft cylinder 10 is rotated, a planetary gear box 4 is also rotated, and therefore a planet gear 23 contained therein which meshes with a stationary gear 24 fixed to a stationary shaft 8 is rotated together with the planetary gear box 4 about the stationary shaft 8 in a circumferential direction. As one end of a face width of the planet gear 23 is connected through a gear 5 to a grindstone shaft 5, the grindstone shaft 5 can rotate at a prescribed rotational ratio to the planet gear 23. Thus regardless of the magnitude of a main shaft adjustment displacement diameter of the grindstone, the grindstone can be rotated at a constant low speed and an oscillatory movement can be provided to the grindstone, so that only projections of burrs on an end face are removed fully automatically.
