Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent temperature rise within a car while parking in summer, as well as to prevent frosting or the like on a window glass in winter by a method wherein a heat insulating cover capable of covering a roof-panel, window portion or the like of a motorcar is removably attached to the motorcar.
CONSTITUTION: A truncated-shaped cover 1 capable of covering the upper half body including window portions of a motorcar is formed by a heat insulating cover bonded with aluminium by metallizing or lamination and a desired number of pieces of sponge blocks 2 for keeping a clearance are attached to a central inner surface of the cover 1. A body cover 5 for preventing solar radiation is constituted with rubber bands 3, 3' of proper length attached to positions near both sides of a front surface of the truncated-shaped cover 1 and rubber bands 4, 4', equipped with hooks at tip ends thereof, attached to positions near both sides of a rear surface thereof respectively. The body cover 5 is used by attaching to the upper half body portions of the motorcar by a method wherein the rubber bands 3, 3' are engaged with side-mirrors 7 while the rubber bands 4, 4' are attached to lower portions of the body by the hooks.
