Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit to confirm an inclined condition of a load-carrying platform by a method wherein at least one of the engaging conditions of hinges and the inclined conditions of the platform is detected and displayed in a dump track in which the platform can be tipped into three ways by engaging or releasing the hinges.
CONSTITUTION: A three-way tipping dump truck 1 is provided with hinges 4L, 4R, 5L, 5R at four positions at front, rear and both sides of a platform 3 and a dump cylinder 6 is connected thereto at the central portion thereof. Respective hinges are provided with hinge receives 7L, 7R, 8L, 8R, hinge pins 9L, 9R, 10L, 10R engaged with and released from the receivers and the like. Respective hinge pins are operated by one set of operating lever 12 through a linking means. Here, limit switches 17L, 17R, 18L, 18R detecting engagement or releasing of hinge pins are provided near the respective hinges while limit switches 19F, 19L, 19R are provided at centers of a fore portion and both sides of the platform 3, and a display means 16 is operated by the outputs of those switches.
