Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate disposal of a trouble and maintenance and inspection of a collator apparatus by mounting a deflector device together with a sheet guide device for pivotal motion about an end of a collator apparatus body while the deflector device is mounted for pivotal motion about an end of the sheet guide device.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet guide device 10 has a pair of channel-like bent lugs 13a, 13b formed at one end thereof and fixed to corresponding elongated shafts 14 which extend in a vertical direction. The shafts 14 are pivotally supported on a collator apparatus body so that the sheet guide device 10 can be pivoted around the shafts 14. A deflector device 8 includes a side plate 18, a mounting plate 19, and several members mounted on these plates 18 and 19, and is supported for pivotal motion about an end of te sheet guide device 10.
