Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain gas-liquid separation even under high acceleration in random directions by receiving a proper number of propellant cells provided with a propellant holder in a propellant tank body provided with a propellant filling port and gas supply port.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of layers of propellant cells 3 for separating gas from liquid of the propellant are disposed within a propellant tank body 2 having a propellant filling port 1 on the top and opened at the lower portion, to form a propellant tank. The propellent cell 3 comprices a propellant cell body 18 provided on the upper portion with a propellant filling opening 16 having a propellant scattering gauze 20 and in the center of the bottom with a vent hole 17, a upright gas conduit 19 acting as a separator on the bottom and a propellant holder 12 within the body 18. The propellant is filled through a valve 4, permeated from the cell 3 of the upper layer to that of the lower layer through each conduit 19, absorbed and held by each holder 12. Gas vaporized in these cells 3 is sent through a flow path chamber 8 and supply port 10 to a gas supply pipe 13.
