Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent gas from leaking in the outer circumferential fitting portion of a bushing by a method wherein a shaft portion build in a valve which has an exhaust brake work is supported with bushings, which are fixed inside the valve body airtightly.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust brake obtains a braking power by an action that a vacuum pump 13 and the second chamber 11 of an actuator 7 are communicated each other, when a switch 12 is on, to have a valve 4 in an exhaust pipe system closed through a diaphragm and a link mechanism 6. The valve 4 is then contained in a circular valve seat 3a inside a valve body 3 and also adhered onto a large diameter portion 5a of a shaft portion 5, and a bushing 14 is contained in a bore 3c provided in a support portion 3b of the said valve body 3. It is constituted so that a hollow place 14a is provided in a side of the bushing 14 to have a ring/15 contained in it and an end of the support portion 3b is closed by a cover 16 to cover the ring/15.
