Abstract
PURPOSE:To make stable the output voltage, by biasing the amplifying circuit which amplifies the difference of each base-to-emitter voltage of two transistors, with a constant current amplifying circuit using the output of this amplifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:The difference DELTAVBE of each VBE of the first and second transistors T1, T2 of the first conduction type is amplified with R4/R1, and a voltage of DELTAVBE (R4/R1) is produced across the resistor R4. This voltage compensates the temperature variance of VBE of a transistor T5 and is picked up from the emitter of the transistor T5 as an input comparison voltage VBB. Further, the current I4 flowing to the resistor R4 flows the current I1 proportional to the amplification factor R3/R4 to the collector of the transistor T3 with the constant current circuit consisting of the transistors T3, T4 and the resistors R3 and R4. Thus, since the current I1 is obtained with the constant current circuit using a stable voltage as the result of amplification of DELTAVBE, it is stable against the variance of the power supply voltage.
