PURPOSE:To improve light coupling efficiency in a photocircuit disposed with a branching filter receiving the reflected light from the slope of an EXITside optical fiber of which the end face opposing to the exit end face of a incident optical fiber is tapered, in a T shape, by forming the core parts of the end parts of the incident optical and branching optical fibers to a convergent taper. CONSTITUTION:An incident side optical fiber 23, an exit side optical fiber 24 and a branching optical fiber 25 are disposed in the V-groove 22 of a support base 21 in a T shape. The clads at the end parts of the optical fiber 23 of incident light opposing to the tapered end face 26 of the output side optical fiber and the optical fiber 25 for branching are formed to a convergent taper, and since this makes it possible to bring the optical fibers closer to the end face 26, the coupling efficiency is improved.
