Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate reoperation with regard to unit-price data by bringing unit- price data under clear control without invalidating the assignment of a scale with a clear key, in a weighing sale data processor in which plural numbers of electronic scales are connected to an electronic cash register.
CONSTITUTION: Under the control of CPU51, the cash register assigns one scale via scale interface 64. Then, unit-price data are outputted from interface 64 to the assigned scale, from which at least weight data are received. Weighing sale data obtained on the basis of the received weight data are totalized and registered in RAM55 with the scale registration key. Further, after unit-price data are outputted to the scale via interface 64, unit-price data are brought under clear control with the clear key of the keyboard without canceling the scale assignment. Consequently, reoperation for unit-price data transmission can be facilitated after unit-price data clearing operation.
