Abstract

PURPOSE: To record and display a degree of life consumption and ensure the reliability and safety of a turbine, by providing a stress computer for calculating the stress of a turbo machine from its temperature and a life consumption rate computer for calculating a fatigue life and creep life.
CONSTITUTION: On the inner face of a turbine casing 2 a temperature sensing element 5 is provided, and stress is calculated by a temperature measuring instrument 6 and stress computer 7. A life consumption rate computer 13 calculates a fatigue life by the signal of a fatigue life computer 12. A life consumption rate computer 17 calculates a creep life by the signal of a creep life computer 16. A life decider 19 makes a decision for the presence of crack generation. A recorder 20 records the accumulated value of a fatigue life consumption rate and creep life consumption rate and nonsteady operation times. While a displayer 21 displays the bofore described accumulated value and decision results for the presence of crack generation. In this way, a life consumption state in the inside of a rotor can be observed.
