Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to detect the revolution of the reel turntable by weak magnet, by the constitution that the relation among the magnet pulley of the magnetic recording and reproducing unit, magnetic sensing element for magnet detection and the back yoke is special.
CONSTITUTION: The magnet pulley 43 is supported on the board 1 rotatatably with the lever 44, the magnetic sensing element 46 is located opposingly to the lever 44 and held at the holding member 47 together with the back yoke plate 48. Further, the back yoke plate 48 is provided with the projections 51a, 51b which position a pole (e.g., S pole) of the magnet pulley 43 to another pole (e.g., N pole) opposingly when the former pole locates near the magnetic sensing element 46. With this constitution, the magnetic flux passing through the magnetic sensing element 46 can be made greater than conventional ones even if the magnetic force of the magnet pulley is small, allowing to enable the revolution detection of high sensitivity.
