Abstract
PURPOSE:To discriminate an omega station without being influenced by the fluctuation to a certain degree of a receiving wave-length by a method wherein receiving stations which are not given any transmissions apparently are eliminated one by one by using a shift register wherein each bit corresponds to each omega station and the remained single station is thus discriminated. CONSTITUTION:Omega stations A-F output the signals of the same frequency for 0.9, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.1, 1.0, 0.9, 1.2 and 1.0 seconds in division, respectively. These outputs are received by a receiver 1 and the measuring length thereof is detected by a signal-length measurer 2. The bits in the shift register corresponding to the omega stations which do not seem to be transmitted on the basis of the above detection are eliminated 1-0, and the content of the register 6 is shifted 0.6sec later, etc. through the intermediatry of a shift-pulse generating circuit 4. In the same way, the content of bits in the register 6 is eliminated by the sequential measurement and the omega station corresponding to the remaining bit is discriminated. By this constitution, the selection of the omega station can surely be performed without being influenced by fluctuations to a certain degree in the measuring length, even if any of them are present.
