Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize the width of a ring section of a rotor core piece of large inner diameter of a cup-shaped rotor for a stepping motor to a necessary least by providing a projection having a caulking penetrating hole at the inside of the ring section and providing a recess on the outer periphery of a permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:A cup-shaped rotor is formed by integrally fixing rotor core pieces of small inner diameter having a plurality of teeth on the outer periphery to rotor core pieces of large inner diameter having a plurality of teeth on the outer periphery in a rotor core with a caulking pin 12, and a permanent magnet 7' is disposed between a pair of cup-shaped rotors confronted at the openings thereof. A plurality of projections 13 are formed with penetrating holes 14 for passing the pin 12 at the inside of the rotor core 6' of large inner diameter, and a recess is formed at the section corresponding to the projections 13 of the rotor core 6' at the permanent magnet 7' disposed inside the rotor core 6' of large inner diameter.
