Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the operation of auxiliary machining feed with visually simple procedures of a device even if its electrode is formed in a complicated shape, by constituting the device in such a manner that a vector of the displacement for positions is drawn in a figure on a display device and preset in a memory device then the auxiliary machining work is performed in accordance with the above described. CONSTITUTION:At the output stage of a memory 38 another digital memory 80 is provided. An X, Y address stored in the memory 38 is stored as the data in said memory 80, and the address data in this memory 80 are output to a numerical control NC84 commanded by a sequential counter 82. The NC84, in accordance with data output from the memory 80, produces the displacement of a relative position between an electrode 10 and a work 12 and drives the sequential counter 82 at every completion of movement of the displacement to allow the memory 80 to output the next data and successively perform the next movement of the displacement. Accordingly this successive movement of the displacement, even if a polygonal locus consisting of a plurality of vectors of the displacement is drawn in a figure on a cathode-ray tube CRT22 and input to the memories 38, 80, can be automatically performed.
