Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten a dust suction effect, by providing an expanded section on the top of a part covering a wheel, to sharply decrease the speed of swirling dust and air at the expanded section. CONSTITUTION:The top of the part of a casing 12, which covers a circular wheel 13, is provided as an upwardly expanded section 14. Dust and air sucked by the rotation of a dust suction fan 11 are discharged to the outside through the opening 15 between the wheel 13 and the expanded section 14, a duct 16 and an outlet port 17. When the dust and air pass through the opening 15, the swirling velocity of the dust and air falls sharply so that as the wheel 13 is rotated, the dust is not discharged down to the outside through the slit 28 of a base board 18 through which the wheel 13 extends. This results in heightening the dust suction effect.
