Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a shuttle converyer to transfer articles in the order of storing priority of tanks indexed according to detected total stock in the respetive tanks and feeder conditions without scattering the articles in tanks inhibited to be charged and providing overload of thick layer of articles on the shuttle converyer.
CONSTITUTION: A tank priority determining apparatus 21 receives output signal of thnk level from a level gauge 24 in any cycle to determine total stock of tanks. It also receives output signal of condition of a feeder 23, and determines the priority of the respective tanks in the order of 1W10 from said output values. A transfer order determining apparatus 22 tankes out target tanks execpt for one inhibited to be charged according to said determined order to determine an order of transferring articles from a present charged position to a target tank according to forward and backward rotation of a shuttle motor, avoidably passing over tanks inhibited to be charged and computing logic for avoiding overload of thick layer of articles on a shuttle converyer tank.
