Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a state wherein cool air and warm air are mixed uniformly, by a simple structure, by a method wherein either the cool air or warm air is set to be the main air flow and the other air flow is blown out at a high speed into the main air flow in the mixing device of the cool air and the warm air used in air conditioning equipment and the like.
CONSTITUTION: A casing 36 is provided in the middle of ducts 34 and 34A through which the main air (warm air) 32 flows, while in the casing 36 a mixing chamber 38 forming a part of the duct 34 and a blown-out air (cool air) chamber 40 are provided, being divided by a partition 42. At the partition 42 bunker nozzles 44, for instance, of three units are arranged and the blow-out ports thereof are provided in the mixing chamber 38 in such a manner that they are tilted in the reverse direction to the flow of the warm air 32. By this constitution, the cool air 48 sent under pressure into the blown-out air chamber 40 through a duct 52 by a blower 50 for mixing is blown out from the nozzles 44 into the mixing chamber 38 at a high speed and is mixed there with the warm air 32. The air thus mixed is supplied through the intermediary of the duct 34A and the main blower 46.
