Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the Young's modulus as well as realize a selection for the internal loss, by using the sheet or film of the triacetyl cellulose for the material of a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:The film of triacetyle cellulose having a proper area is formed into e.g. a dome-shaped form to obtain the triacetyle cellulose diaphragm component 1. This component is then formed through the mold 2 with addition of the heating and pressing processes to obtain the dome-shaped diaphragm 3. Furthermore, the diaphragm 3 is cooled down by the forcible cooling device after being taken out of the mold. Thus the hardness of the diaphragm is varied during the period from the working temperature down to the normal temperature. As a result, the Young's modulus is increased, at the same time reducing the internal loss down to a proper level.
