Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a diaphragm having a high sound speed and large internal loss, by using a material obtained by bonding the graphite via the polyaminobismaleimide resin. CONSTITUTION:The acoustic diaphragm is formed by bonding the graphite with the polyaminobismaleimide resin. Such diaphragm is preferably formed into a sheet having a thickness of about 0.5mm. by mixing the 20.0g polyaminobismaleimide resin and about 30.0g graphite impalpable powder to be then kneaded by two pieces of 120 deg.C rolls about 10min. This sheet is then held between the iron plates the surfaces of which are coated by the fluorine-group resin to be pressed by 500kg/cm and at 250 deg.C and then receive an after-cure for 5hr and at 250 deg.C. Thus a flat plate is obtained with a thickness of 100mum. The plate of 1X4.5cm is cut out of the flat plate. A sound speed of 4,800m/sec and Q=27 or so is measured for the sound speed via the cantilever. After this the sheet is crashed and then pressed with a pressure of 400kg/cm to produce a column having the diameter of 40mm.. This column then receives a transfer forming with 500kg/cm and at 260 deg.C to obtain a cone for a woofer. In such way, an excellent acoustic diaphragm can be obtained.
