Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily obtain a small piece of type having the desired characters printed in series thereon by a method wherein a desired printing body is located right under a notch, the types of the printing body are pressed against a tape and then the tape is cut up.
CONSTITUTION: With a tape 16 fitted in a magazine 18, a pressing roller 21 is rotated to feed the leading end of the tape 17 into a tape traveling groove 2 cut in the lateral portion 1' of a main body 1.
