Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate hysteresis in a discharge characteristic curve and also to make a pump operational for starting and stopping without involving an energy loss by setting a stopping current value so as not to give hysteresis in a current flow curve according to each discharge of the pump.
CONSTITUTION: Quantities of flow Q1WQ3 at intersections between hydraulic flow characteristic curves C1'WC1 4 of each pump provided additionally and the device resistance curve C2 are determined. Then, starting/stopping current values without hysteresis are determined against said determined quantities of flow Q1, Q2... at operating current flow curves B1, B2... of the same pump group by taking starting currents i1, i1', i1"... on lower stage upwardly in the corresponding flow values and stopping currents i2, i2', i2"... on upper stage downwardly. By constituting such, hysteresis can be eliminated in flow characteristic curves, and the pump can be made operational for starting and stopping in plural stages without involving an energy loss.
