Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid the erasion of the record caused by the external magnetic field, by compounding the normal magnetic powder having a high antimagnetic force and the magnetic powder having a higher coerasive force to obtain a magnetic record layer.
CONSTITUTION: At present the ferrite impalpable powder having the HC of 2,000W 3,000 Oe is used for the magnetic powder of a high antimagnetic force, and the magnetic powder having the HC higher than the above magnetic powder by 10W15% (25W40% preferably) is compounded to the above magnetic powder. In this case, the magnetic powder has the HC of 3,000W6,000 Oe. For instance, a sufficient saturation writing is impossible in the normal way to the magnetic powder having the HC of 5,000 Oe, but a partial writing is possible. Accordingly, the record written to the magnetic powder of the HC of about 2,000 Oe is erased, but the record remaining in the magnetic powder of the HC of 5,000 Oe can be read in a correct way.
