Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep coincidence of input and output currents of a current Miller circuit, to remarkably reduce the pedestal and to increase the control characteristics, even with higher control voltage Vs, by using transistors with complete characteristics, in gate circuits used for electronic musical instruments. CONSTITUTION:Each source terminal is grounded for the first and second FETs Q1, Q2, each drain terminal is connected to each source terminal of the third and fourth FETs Q3, Q4, and each drain terminal of the third and fourth FETs Q3, Q4 are respectively connected to the input and output terminals of the current Miller circuit consisting of the 5th and 6th FETs Q5, Q6. Further, a signal for envelope control is fed to the 3rd and 4th FETs Q3, Q4, and the tone signal of opposite phase is fed to the 1st and 2nd FETs Q1, Q2 to pick up bidirectional output current from the output terminal. In the circuit like this, each pair of transistors with complete characteristics are used.
