Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily produce a dispersion of ultrafine atomization rate or a high dispersion of less cohered particles by colliding mixed liquids comprising liquid and liquid or solid and liquid which do not dissolve with each other by such a method as injecting the same from a plurality of nozzles to the same place.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of two liquids which do not dissolve with each other is emulsified and dispersed by the following method. Namely, the mixed liquids added with a dispersant are pressurized by a high-pressure pump 1 and are bisected by communicating holes 2, 2', 2" and further these are supplied to a nozzle 3. This supplied liquid is made to abruptly constricted flow in the part of the nozzle 3, and is applied with vigorous shearing force, whereby it is dispersed. The high-velocity fluid produced in this part is flowed into an injection port 4 of a small size, and is further dispersed by the shearing force here. The preliminarily dispersed mixed liquids are then injected from an outlet opening part 5, after which they are collided against a collision surface 6 and are thereby dispersed. Thence, the highly dispersed mixed liquids are discharged through a discharge part 8 encircled by the wall surface 7 of the discharge part.
