Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the measurement of the diameter of particles irrespective of the concentration thereof by using the ratio of output of densitometers having different principles. CONSTITUTION:In the condition that the minute particles 1 such as aero sol are floating, the concenration is measured by using a beam-attenuating type densitomeyer 2 and a parallel-plate type densitometer 3, respectively, and the diameter of the particles 1 is measured from the ratio of output of the respective concentration.
