Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composite thin plate with a light weight and high bending elastic modulus suitable as a vibration plate of a speaker by a method wherein a mixture of graphite flakes and an org. resin binder is subjected to the rolling processing to form a sheet and, thereafter, the binder therein is cured.
CONSTITUTION: To 100pts.wt. of a graphite flake with an average long diameter of 0.5μm or more, 10W65pts.wt. of a resin binder such as an epoxy resin or a polyimide resin are compounded to prepare a graphite-resin mixture 5. Subsequently, this mixture 5 is supplied between rollers 4a, 4b interposing a polyester film 6 and, by the rolling processing, a graphite-resin composite sheet 7 is formed on the film 6, thereafter the film 6 is peeled from the sheet 7 by heating to 50W100°C and said sheet 7 is cut into a desired shape to obtain a graphite-resin composite thin plate 13. Subsequently, a rubberplate 11 is layed in a metal mold constituted from a bottom plate 10a and a side wall body 10b and an Al foil 12 and the thin plate 13 are alternately stacked thereon and, moreover, a rubber plate 11' is placed, thereafter the binder in said thin plate 13 is cured by heating while pressure is applied by a press element 10c.
