Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the exhaust gas desulfurizing cost in the manufacture of sintered ore by using two sintering machines and feeding SOx rich exhaust gas from one of the machines to a part of the other where much SOx are generated to reduce the vol. of exhaust gas to be treated on the whole.
CONSTITUTION: In the manufacture of sintered ore two sintering machines 1, 11 are used. Exhaust gas 3b of high SOx concn. from machine 1 is passed through dust removing unit 4b and fed into upper hood 21 of other machine 11 where SOx rich exhaust gas is generated. Concd. exhaust gases of high SOx concn. from machines 1, 11 are desulfurized with desulfurizing apparatus 6. The desulfurized exhaust gas is released from chimney 7 through denitrating apparatus 32 together with exhaust gas contg. not little SOx from machine 11. Exhaust gas contg. not little SOx from machine 1 is fed into chimney 7 through dust removing unit 4a and denitrating apparatus 32. Since part of exhaust gas of high SOx concn. is repeatedly used, the vol. of exhaust gas to be treated is reduced on the whole, resulting in reduced exhaust gas treating equipment and cost.
