Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the assembling properties of an air conditioner, by using only a wire bent into a prescribed shape, so that the columnar shaft of the rotary member of a louver or the like for changing the direction of wind is supported with appropriate elasticity.
CONSTITUTION: In a louver 1 secured to a shaft 4 which is in turn rotatably supported at both ends thereof by a pair of side plate 3 which difine a blowout port 2 in the main body of an air conditioner, the shaft 4 is provided at each end thereof with a support wire 5 which is formed of a bent resilient wire, so that the louver 1 is prevented from rotation due to wind pressures. The shaft 4 is inserted into the circular support section 5a of the support wire 5 being in a state shown in the drawing (a). The rectilinear support sections 5d, 5e of the wire 5 at both the ends of the wire 5 are pulled in the same direction so that the support sections 5d, 5e are inserted into the circular support section 5a. The elliptic sections 5b, 5c of the wire 5 are curved as shown in the other drawing (b). The shaft 4 is thus elastically supported at three points. The support sections 5d, 5e are anchored to engaging sections.
