Abstract
PURPOSE:To disperse, absorb and relieve the concentrated stress due to thermal strains by radially splitting the combustor into the shapes of round slices at the position of each air-diluting hole. CONSTITUTION:The combustor 1 is composed of cylindrical ceramic segments 11a-11d made of Si3N4, SiC or the like and rotation-stopping ceramic brackets 12 which are inserted between the segments 11a-11d to form slits, the segments 11a 11d being provided by radially splitting a cylinder into the shapes of round slices at the central position of each of air holes 3a-3c. The segment 11 for a dome portion fitted with a fuel injection valve 2 is fixed to an outer cylinder 7 with fitting bolts 5, 6 through a swirler 4. The segment 11d at the final stage and a ceramic scroll 13 on the downstream side thereof are connected with each other in the axial direction by a cylindrical connecting metal 17 fitted with a leaf spring 16 which detachably engages with annular projections 14, 15 provided on the outside walls of the segment 11d and the scroll 13.
