Abstract
PURPOSE: To cool in summer and heat in winter by sucking the outside air from openings with down pipes and discharging hot air from the other ventilating holes.
CONSTITUTION: When the sun shines on a roof 4 and a garret 7 becomes hot, hot air rises and is discharged from exhaust ports 1 to the outside, while from admission ports 2, the outside air is forced in through insulated ducts 3 so as to drift above a ceiling 5 and cools the ceiling 5. The forced-in air pushes up hot air in the garret 7 and forces it out from the exhaust ports 1. Therefore, the garret is cooled to the temperature of the outside air in summer and heated in winter by closing the admission ports 2 and exhaust ports 1 to keep heat.
