Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform optimum room-heating and make an entire device compact by using a heating element both in heating by radiation and forced convection and controlling a fan motor linked with the exposing and covering action of an opposing element which exposes or covers the heating element.
CONSTITUTION: A heating element 24 is installed in a main body 1 with hot air outlets. An opposing element 5 is arranged at the front face of the main body 1 openably and closably facing the heating element 24. A control switch 11 is provided for the main body 1 and switches on when the opposing element 5 closes. A fan 18 is installed in the main body 1 and started by said control switch 11, sends air to the heating element 24 and discharges hot air heated by the heating element 24 from said hot air outlets 31. A change-over control device 13 is provided for the main body 1 and operates based on a set time or temperature. The opposing element 5 automatically opens or closes corresponding to the action of the change-over control device 13.
