Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of a cavitation of a feed-water pump by a constitution wherein a suction pressure of the feed-water pump can be secured by its reflux at the time of a condensing pump tripping.
CONSTITUTION: A condensate is fed to a feed pipe 16 by a feed-water pump 9a by way of a condensing pump 1a and is partly refluent to a condenser by way of a minimum flow pipe 11a, but recycled to an inlet side of the feed-water pump 9a through a recycle line 21a branching halfway. Then, a controller 24a for which system "b" works as a standby machine opens a regulating valve 22a when the condensing pump 1a trips and a suction pressure signal of the feed-water pump 9a of a pressure transmitter 25a becomes a set point by a pressure setter 26 or below. Thus a flow signal of a flow transmitter 17a is controlled to be equal to a set point from a flow setter 27. A cavitation occurrence of the feed-water pump can therefore be prevented even at the time of the condensing pump tripping, and reliability of the feed-water plant is maintained to a continuation in operation.
