Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve copying quality by preventing a transfer shift and deficiency in feed amount and to correct the curvature of copying paper and also to enable high-speed copying, by arranging a unidirectional transmission clutch at each transporting element.
CONSTITUTION: As motor 6 is operated synchronizing with the prescribed timing of the process of copying, driving shaft 4 rotates in the direction of arrow (a) through worm speed reduction mechanisms 7 and 5 and the 1st group roller 8 is rotated as shown by arrow (b) through the operation of unidirectional transmission clutch 9. As a result, copying paper 1 is fed out in the direction of arrow (c) by the frictional force of roller 8 and reaches the 2nd friction rollers 10a and 10b by guide plate 11a and while the leading edge of copying paper 1 comes in contact with rollers 10a and 10b, the tail edge meets roller 8. In this case, when rollers 10a and 10b feed paper 1 at a higher speed, the clutch provides no transmission operation and roller 8 rotates freely.
