Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance reliability and make the device small-size and reduce the cost, by adding the output, which is obtained by adjusting the amplitude and the phase of the output of the detector detecting respective components of the magnetic field vector, to the measure direction vector detector to correct this detector.
CONSTITUTION: The flux gate type magnetometer is constituted by two output windings (x) and (y) orthogonal to each other, and detectors 1 and 2 consist of the x detector to detect components of magnetic field vector X and the y detector to detect components of magnetic field vector Y respectively. Inversional amplifiers 3 and 3' have variable resistors 6 and 6' which can adjust the phase and the output, and x detector output hx, y detector output hy', outputs from variable resistors 6 and 6', and the reference voltage set by variable resistors 7 and 7' are input to adding circuits 5 and 5', and circuits 5 and 5' compare these outputs with the reference voltage to perform addition correction. As a result, dimensions and angle error of the vector detector are corrected electrically.
