Abstract

PURPOSE: To make operators for collimation needless by using the light wave range finder of the automatic tracking system in case of use of the light wave range finder.
CONSTITUTION: On shipway 1, automatic tracking light wave range finders 3, 4 and 5 are arranged at two left and right end parts and one point between the line connecting these points respectively, and reflection mirrors 6 and 7 equipped with light source telescopes for automatic tracking are arranged at two points of a prescribed interval on reference base 2, and light wave range finders 3 and 5 collimate reflection mirror 6, and light wave range finder 4 collimates reflection mirror 7. Three light wave range finders 3, 4 and 5 are connected to computer 8 installed on slip 1, and further, display part 12 is connected to computer 8. Since range finders 3, 4 and 5 are made into the automatic tracking system in this manner, one operator can not only operate three range finders 3, 4 and 5 simultaneously with remote controller 16 but also operate the ship to position it while watching the displayed result. Consequently, operators for collimation can be needless.
