Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the facsimile device and printer with small size and simple constitution, by reducing the number of components of externally mounted circuits, and incorporating the scanning drive circuit in an integrated circuit corresponding to a diode chip. CONSTITUTION:A high resistance board 10 is provided with a video signal distrubution integrated circuit 19 which distrubutes the video signal in M-bits and a plurality of terminals which input various signals and power supplies on a video signal input terminal 20 and a clock signal input terminal 21. Further, the said integrated circuit 19 is provided with M sets of gate circuits 33 which control the timing and pulse width of parallel output, M sets of drivers 34 operated with the output of the circuits 33, and input and output terminals 35-43. N sets of integrated circuits 19 are provided on the same board of MXN sets of recording elements, and M sets of output terminals and M sets of recording elements on the integrated circuit 19 are connected one by one. Further, the video signal distrubution circuit included in the integrated circuit 19 and the gate circuits 33 are controlled with a plurality of control signals so that the recording elements of MXN pieces can selectively be driven, allowing to reduce the number of externally mounted components.
