Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the motive power transmission capacity of a V-belt by connecting a plurality of nearly table-shaped V-blocks by means of a pluraity of roller pins and make the V-belt compact by lessening the curvature radius thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A V-belt 20 has a plurality of V-blocks 21 of which the both side faces 22 and 22 with the same angle θ as the V-groove C of pulleys P are formed in the lower part. The blocks 21 are interconnected into chain form by a plurality of plates 23. A plurality of slits 24 are provided in the V-blocks 21 in parallel to connection direction. The plates 23 having holes 25 and 25 on the both ends are inserted into the slits 24 and connected to the upper part of the blocks 21 by means of the roller pins 26 passed through the blocks 21 in width direction.
