Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain a steady braked state in a double wheel caster by fitting a ratch provided on a part of a braking plate in fitting-grooves inside a wheel as pushing the catching-nail to the fitting-groove by the elasticity of a yoke.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided a shaft 7 to be slided as a guide in the lower part of a partition wall 4, a braking plate 12 projected to the outside of a yoke 1, a ratch 15, and a coil spring 17, an elastic body. The coil spring 17 is connected with the projected end of the braking plate 12 to be rotatable, and an operation pedal 19 with a lead face is provided on the contacting part to the yoke 1. Thus, the ratch 15 is fitted in fitting-grooves 5 by the turning operation of the operation pedal 19, and pushed by the elasticity of the yoke 1 for obtaining a braked state.
