Abstract
PURPOSE:To monitor the normalcy of the transmission line with no intervention of the software, by allotting the specific channel of the time-division channel for the reception of the pilot signal and then checking the contents of the received date for the relevant channel. CONSTITUTION:The signals of the pilot signal generators 1d and 2d are inserted into the specifictime slot under the control of the unit main body devices 1a and 2a, and then transmitted to the remote side via the transmission line 3. The pilot signals received at the units 2 and 1 are detected by the pilot signal detectors 2e and 1e. These pilot signals are detected at all times at the reception side, thus monitoring the fault of the multichannel.
