Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable errorless management by carrying out lending and returning bicycles which have proper numbers using owner identification cards.
CONSTITUTION: When lending a bicycle, a card carrying an identification code of the card owner is inserted into a card reader 53, and, at the same time, the proper number of the bicycle is inputted to an input key 54. Then, a processing device 61 stores the membership number read by the card reader 53, the bicycle number from the key input 54 and data information from a data setting device 73 in a memory device 62. When returning the bicycle, the owner identification card is inserted and the bicycle number is inputted similarly. Then, the processing device 61 stores the data of return from the data setting device 73 in the location of corresponding bicycle number in the memory device 62. Thusm errorless management can be performed since informtion of lending and returning is stored corresponding to the bicycle number.
