Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the nonoperation of a vibration suppression means and the contact of a rotary shaft with a noncontact seal, by using an eccentric ring to compensate for the deflection of a bearing support spring which constitutes the vibration suppression means.
CONSTITUTION: A vibration suppression means 7 is provided between an rolling bearing 3 and a housing 4. A bearing support spring 6, which constitutes the vibration suppression means 7, is supported to the housing 4 by an eccentric ring 10 provided between the flange 8 of the spring 6 and a side of the housing 4. The diameter D2 of the outside 10a of the eccentric rign 10 is equal to that of a hole 11 concentric with the inside 4a of the housing 4, which has a diameter D3. The hole 13 of the eccentric ring 10 has a diameter D1 equal to the outside diameter of the flange 8 of the bearing support spring 6 and is eccentric by δ from the center X2 of the outside 10a of the ring 10. The eccentricity δ is set to compensate for the deflection of the bearing support spring 6 due to a rotary body 1 and an external force. As a result, an oil film damper 5.
