Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the lowering in the transmission rate due to the condensation of water vapor and the separation of reacted production on the inside of window and to decrease the frequency of cleaning, by keeping the phototransmission window for airtight at high temperatures. CONSTITUTION:A heater 3 is wound on the outer side of a cylinder 1 provided with inlet 5 and outlet 6 for sample gas. The both ends of the cylinder 1 are greater than the center, and most of the window holder 9 can be contained at the ends and also the heater 3 is wound at the outside. The window holder 9 is contained with an airtight phototransmission window 2 and a heating phototransmission window 8 with a space. To keep the airtightness of the cell, an O-ring 10 is located between the cylinder 1 and the airtight phototransmission window 2, and the airtightness of cell is kept by strongly screwing the window holder 9. With this constitution, the airtight phototransmission window is kept at high temperatures and the degradation of the transmission rate is less.
